Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join our family law practice in Anchorage, Alaska. This full-time Associate Attorney role focuses on Alaska family law, including divorce, custody, child support, and related matters. The family law Associate Attorney will work closely with clients, colleagues, and support staff in a collaborative, professional, and respectful environment. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with experience or interest in family law to grow their practice in Anchorage.

• Advise clients on family law matters, providing strategic and practical legal guidance
• Maintain strong communication and rapport with family law clients
• Represent clients in family law legal proceedings, including hearings, trials, and mediations
• Conduct legal research and draft documents related to family law, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to develop and implement effective family law case strategies

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Alaska Bar and in good standing
• Knowledge and experience with Alaska family law
• Experience working as an Associate Attorney, Family Law Attorney, or Family Law Associate
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Consistency and predictable patience
• Ability to manage multiple family law cases and meet deadlines with precision
