Immigration Attorney (Direct Hire)

Location: Northwest Arkansas (Hybrid / Remote Flexibility)

Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 annually (DOE)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

A respected and growing general practice law firm in Northwest Arkansas is seeking a full‑time Immigration Attorney for a direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for an attorney with hands‑on immigration court experience who wants stability, professional growth, and the ability to make a meaningful impact for clients from diverse backgrounds.

This is not an entry‑level position. The firm is specifically seeking an attorney who can independently manage immigration matters, represent clients in court, and collaborate with accredited representatives.

• Represent clients before Immigration Court, USCIS, and ICE
• Handle defensive and affirmative immigration cases, including:
  • Asylum (affirmative & defensive)
  • Removal and deportation proceedings
  • TPS transitions
  • DACA renewals
  • Humanitarian Parole
  • CAT (Convention Against Torture) claims
  • Withdrawal of Removal
• Prepare, review, and file petitions, applications, appeals, and waivers
• Draft legal briefs, motions, correspondence, and memoranda
• Advise clients on immigration strategy and case outcomes
• Supervise and collaborate with DOJ Accredited and Partially Accredited Representatives
• Review and sign filings prepared by accredited representatives
• Track deadlines, maintain accurate case files, and ensure compliance
• Stay current on changes in immigration law and policy

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active Arkansas Bar license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of immigration law experience in a private law firm
• Direct experience representing clients in Immigration Court
• Fluent in English and Spanish (required)
• Strong legal writing, advocacy, and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage a full caseload independently
• Proficiency with legal research tools and Microsoft/Google applications

• Experience supervising DOJ Accredited Representatives
• Strong background in defensive asylum cases
• Client‑facing experience with high‑volume or complex caseloads
