Job Description
Position Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled General Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join our growing firm. This position offers a diverse range of litigation matters and the opportunity to represent clients in both state and federal courts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of general litigation principles, enjoy handling cases from inception through trial, and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and litigate a diverse caseload, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial stages.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
- Conduct depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
- Provide legal counsel to clients and advocate on their behalf.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies.
- 2-5 years of general litigation experience.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Experience with discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Admission to the State Bar Virginia.
