Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer – East of England – Up to £55 per hour umbrella – Remote – Initial 3+ months

Venn Group’s specialist legal team is currently working with a well-regarded Local Authority in the East of England to recruit a Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer. This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join a dynamic and vibrant legal team.

The Role:

Position: Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer

Rate: Up to £55 per hour umbrella

Duration: Initial 3+ months with the possibility for extension

Location: Remote working

Hours: 4 days per week, 28-32 hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing advice on Contract and Procurement Law
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts
• Provide legal advice on procurement strategy, governance frameworks, and contractual risk in line with evolving procurement legislation
• Ensure legal compliance with procurement regulations relevant to the public sector

About You:

• An experienced Commercial Contracts Lawyer
• Experience of working within a Local Authority or Public Sector Organisation
• Ability to work independently and adhere to strict deadlines
