Regulatory or Criminal Lawyer, PQE; Energy & Utilities

Household name PLC seeks to recruit a Regulatory or Criminal Lawyer/Legal Executive.

This position could suit a recently qualified solicitor, barrister or legal executive with either regulatory or criminal disputes experience. Our client will consider a full or part-time role.

Working as part of a friendly, supportive team who advise the business across a broad range of disputes and regulatory matters. They raise commercial awareness within the business, overseeing statutory duties and taking early action. The position is primarily a contentious role with some exposure to non-contentious matters.

You will run and defend prosecutions, advise the business on regulatory structure including enforcement action by and against the organisation and advise on scope of statutory powers. These will primarily be environmental disputes but may also include health & safety and data protection issues.

• Recently qualified solicitor, barrister or legal executive with some exposure to regulatory law or criminal disputes procedure and practice
• Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal, commercial and team skills
