We've got a fantastic opportunity for a UK qualified employment lawyer to join our team as Legal Counsel on a fixed term contract maternity cover. You'll be supporting the Legal Director (Employment) in handling of large employment tribunal caseloads.

Ideally with in‑house experience but we can consider a move from private practice. This role would suit 5 years PQE. It's a great role with room to grow and develop.

• Qualified UK lawyer with a strong track record in employment law, especially managing a busy and varied caseload of employment litigation. This would suit 5 years PQE.
• Sound legal, commercial, business and negotiating acumen, with strong technical legal skills.
• Keen to develop the use of generative AI to drive efficiencies in day to day work.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with clear, articulate drafting and strong attention to detail.
• Highly responsive, proactive and solution oriented approach to resolving issues pragmatically and quickly.

Your ability to provide clear, timely and pragmatic employment law advice ensures our internal stakeholders receive the support they need to deliver the best outcomes for our customers.

Your interest in developing the use of generative AI and legal tech reflects our commitment to driving innovation and improving efficiency across our legal work.

Your strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate support effective partnership with HR, internal stakeholders, and the Legal Director to achieve shared outcomes.

Your responsive, solution focused approach and ability to work independently while respecting others' input helps create a supportive, inclusive, and respectful work environment.
