Legal Secretary

Overview

Our client is looking for a detail-driven Legal Secretary to support a team of attorneys in a fast-paced litigation environment. This role is the backbone of case management, ensuring deadlines are met, documents are accurate, and attorneys are fully supported to advocate effectively for their clients. Your precision and organizational skills will directly impact the success of legal cases from start to finish.

• Provide administrative and clerical support to multiple attorneys
• Draft, prepare, and file pleadings in federal, state, and county courts
• Perform transcription and create accurate legal documentation
• Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and case lists
• Enter and maintain billing and time records
• Communicate with clients, colleagues, and court personnel
• Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence as needed

• Ability to type at least 70 wpm with minimal errors
• Proficiency in legal transcription and document preparation
• Strong knowledge of Adobe for document handling
• Experience with filing pleadings across multiple court systems
