I’m currently working with a nationally recognised claimant law firm, widely regarded as one of the UK’s leading specialists in clinical negligence and serious injury litigation.
The firm is consistently ranked by the leading legal directories, including The Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, and is known for acting on complex, high-value and life-changing claims for individuals and families.
Due to continued growth, the firm is now recruiting Clinical Negligence Solicitors at all levels
, from around 1 year PQE through to senior grade (8+ PQE), to join its expanding and well-established team.

The team includes nationally respected specialists accredited by APIL, AvMA and the Law Society, and the culture is genuinely people-focused — both for clients and employees.
The firm is also well known for its progressive and flexible approach to working. Hybrid and remote models are fully embedded, and senior lawyers can work with as little as one or two days per month in the Leeds office, if preferred.
The RoleYou will manage a claimant clinical negligence caseload appropriate to your level of experience, handling matters from instruction through to resolution or litigation.
The work is meaningful and often complex, involving serious injury and challenging medical issues. You will be supported by an experienced infrastructure of medical experts, counsel and specialist support teams.
Key Responsibilities- Managing a clinical negligence caseload independently
- Drafting pleadings and key litigation documents
- Negotiating settlements and preparing cases for trial
- Liaising with clients, medical experts and counsel
- Delivering clear, compassionate and practical advice
- Maintaining compliant and accurate case records
- Contributing to departmental performance and service delivery
- Supervise and mentor junior colleagues
- Lead on strategy in high-value and complex cases
- Contribute to departmental leadership and growth
The firm is open to candidates across a broad range of levels and will tailor the role accordingly.
You will ideally be:
- A qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with clinical negligence experience
- Confident managing your own files and progressing cases proactively
- A strong drafter and communicator
- IT-literate and comfortable with case management systems
- Collaborative and supportive in your approach
- Experience handling high-value and complex claims
- Confidence supervising and mentoring others
- An interest in contributing to strategic growth
