Criminal Defence Solicitor (7+ PQE)

Location: Nottingham (Hybrid) / Remote Candidates will be considered

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Criminal Defence Solicitor to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm. The role can be based in Nottingham, with remote working also available for the right candidate.

You will manage a varied caseload of privately funded criminal defence matters, advising and representing individuals and businesses from the early stages of investigation through to conclusion. The work includes serious criminal allegations, fraud, regulatory investigations, road traffic offences and confiscation proceedings. Occasional travel to courts and police stations across England and Wales will be required.

• Manage a varied caseload of privately funded criminal defence matters from investigation through to conclusion.
• Advise and represent individuals and businesses in serious criminal cases, fraud, regulatory investigations, road traffic offences and confiscation proceedings.
• Attend courts and police stations as required; travel across England and Wales may be necessary.

• Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 7 years' PQE.
• Strong background in criminal defence work.
• Excellent advocacy, communication and client care skills.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
