Position: Abuse Solicitor (re train)

Abuse Solicitor (re train)

An Abuse or Personal Injury Solicitor is wanted for an excellent opportunity with a Top 50 law firm based in Manchester. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

My client is an award winning, national law firm with an excellent reputation in the market. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are looking for a Solicitor/Legal Executive to join their nationally recognised Abuse department. They are at the forefront of seeking justice for survivors, working on ground-breaking and high-profile cases that regularly make national headlines. You'll be joining a passionate and experienced team committed to making a real difference to the lives of their clients.

You'll manage a varied caseload of abuse claims, acting for survivors of physical, sexual, emotional and institutional abuse against a range of organisations and individuals. You'll work closely with clients throughout what is often one of the most significant and emotional periods of their lives, providing clear legal advice with sensitivity and professionalism.

You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to high-profile and group litigation matters, collaborate with colleagues across the Serious Injury and Public Law teams where appropriate, and play a role in developing the team's outstanding reputation.

Ideally, we are looking for Solicitors/Legal Executive at the NQ-5 years PQE level, but those outside of this bracket will also be considered. While prior experience in abuse work is welcome, it is not essential as we are also open to applicants from a personal injury or clinical negligence background with a genuine passion for supporting survivors of abuse.

The position offers flexibility, including remote working, though regular in-person contact with the team and clients will be essential.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a genuine difference in people's lives, supporting survivors of abuse through complex and often highly sensitive legal cases.
