Legal Assistant Paralegal

This is a full-time Legal Assistant / Paralegal role located in Calgary, AB, with flexibility to work in a hybrid work model with the ability to work from home. In this role, you will provide legal administrative and paralegal support to lawyers and other legal personnel.

Day-to-day tasks will include preparing, reviewing and organizing legal documents and disclosure, tracking time for yourself, drafting, and assisting with court filings and client communications.

• Legal Assistant or paralegal degree/certification
• At least five (5) years of working experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or in a similar role,
  specifically in family law
• Knowledge of legal terminology, legal documents and procedures associated with litigation, corporate law, and real estate law
• Experience using legal software programs such as LEAP and Microsoft
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work product
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Experience in a fast-paced legal environment is a plus
