The RoleDue to continued strategic growth and high client demand we are looking for an experienced property litigator to join our existing group of property litigators within our highly regarded Disputes team in Cardiff . We work with owners, landlords, tenants, property developers, and housing associations to iron out property disputes. We work flexibly and team members work from home and/or from either of our offices.
You will have a passion for contentious work (primarily contentious property work) and your caseload will be varied. You will handle your own matters with supervision and assist the partners on more complex matters. You'll also be involved in a range of business development activities. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career and reputation as part of a growing commercial disputes team.
KeyRequirements
- Manage a varied caseload of property litigation matters.
- Experience of advising on commercial landlord and tenant disputes, boundary and access issues, and strategic dispute resolution.
- Work closely with colleagues to resolve complex cases.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
- Pursue continuous professional development opportunities.
- Property litigation solicitor with c2 years' post-qualification experience or equivalent.
- Demonstrable experience and confidence in handling your own caseload and supporting on larger, more complex matters, with appropriate supervision and guidance when required.
- The ability to work collaboratively with others, as part of a large team, but also the confidence to work independently.
- Technically competent and commercially aware.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, clear written presentation, strong organisational skills, good time management, good initiative, and problem-solving ability.
- A strong client focused approach with plenty of drive and enthusiasm to help us to provide an excellent client service.
