D-Wave is seeking a skilled professional to join its Intellectual Property team and contribute significantly to the evolution of quantum technology. In this valuable position, you’ll draft and prosecute patent applications, evaluate innovations, and provide strong IP support to research teams. This role requires collaboration, problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous improvement in patent processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate to evaluate and protect innovative ideas

• Draft and manage patent applications across technologies

• Build strong relationships with technical teams

• Manage relationships with external patent counsel

• Identify areas for improvement within IP processes

Requirements:

• Degree in Physics, Mathematics, or related field

• Proven patent prosecution experience

• Canadian Patent Agent registration advantageous

• Strong analytical skills and judgment

• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
