About the Role As an Energy & Environment Legal Specialist, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of regulatory content covering energy, environment, utilities and resources.

You'll ensure content remains accurate, practical and current while helping shape solutions that support customers in managing increasingly complex regulatory requirements.

This role sits at the intersection of:

Legal and regulatory research

Compliance and risk management

Customer and industry engagement

Product and content strategy

Technology and innovation

You'll work closely with customers, subject matter experts, industry bodies and internal teams to develop practical resources that help organisations understand and respond to regulatory change.

Key Responsibilities Manage and develop regulatory content across the Energy, Environment, Utilities and Resources portfolio

Translate complex legislation, regulatory frameworks and legal developments into clear, practical guidance

Monitor legislative reform, compliance developments and emerging industry trends

Engage with customers to understand regulatory challenges and evolving market needs

Build relationships with regulators, industry bodies, consultants and subject matter experts

Lead content and product-related projects from concept through to delivery

Support product, sales and marketing teams with subject matter expertise and industry insights

Contribute to future content strategy, innovation initiatives and product development opportunities

About You We're interested in professionals who enjoy analysing complex regulatory issues and translating them into practical outcomes.

You may come from a variety of backgrounds, including:

Environmental Law Energy & Resources Law Planning & Infrastructure Law Regulatory Compliance Risk & Governance Environmental Consulting Utilities or Infrastructure Government or Regulatory Agencies Policy and Regulatory Affairs Corporate Compliance You don't need experience across all of these areas. What matters most is your ability to interpret complex regulatory frameworks and communicate them clearly.

To be successful, you'll bring:

A law degree

Experience in at least 1 subject matter area above

Strong legal research, analysis and written communication skills

Experience interpreting legislation, regulations or policy frameworks

Ability to communicate complex concepts to both legal and non-legal audiences

Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills

Excellent organisational and project management capabilities

Commercial awareness and a customer-focused mindset

Interest in legal technology, innovation and AI-enabled solutions
