Court of Protection Paralegal - Birmingham - £28,000

My client is a well-established national firm seeking to recruit a Court of Protection Paralegal to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded department managing substantial client funds and supporting individuals who have suffered acquired brain injuries and received significant damages awards.

The Role

You will:

  • Assist solicitors with Professional Deputyship and Personal Injury Trust matters
  • Support the preparation of Court of Protection and OPG applications
  • Help manage day-to-day financial administration for clients under deputyship
  • Liaise with clients, families, case managers, and third parties
  • Assist with property transactions, insurance matters, and property adaptation projects
  • Support business development initiatives and team projects
  • Keep up to date with COP and PI Trust developments

This role will initially focus on supporting fee earners, with the opportunity to take on your own caseload.
