Under 3 years PQE: £51,541 all locations Civil Service Pension with a 28.97% employer contribution Are you looking for legal work that genuinely makes an impact?We're recruiting 10 Advisory Lawyers to join Home Office Legal Advisers (HOLA), a team working on some of the most high-profile, challenging and important issues facing the UK today.
This is an opportunity to advise on matters that regularly make headlines, reach Parliament and shape government policy. From immigration and border security to national security, crime, policing, AI, online harms and modern slavery, you'll help tackle issues that affect millions of people across the country.
No two days are the same. One day you could be helping develop legislation, the next advising on a complex legal challenge or supporting Ministers and senior officials on a fast-moving issue.

We're keen to hear from qualified lawyers who can demonstrate:
- Strong public law knowledge
- Excellent legal judgement and analytical skills
- Experience providing legal advice in a professional environment
- Strong drafting and communication skills
- The ability to work at pace and adapt quickly
- A collaborative approach and a genuine interest in public service
- £51,541 for lawyers with under three years PQE
- Civil Service Pension with a 28.97% employer contribution
