Junior Legal Advisor - Corporate & Commercial

About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Legal Advisor to join their corporate and commercial legal team in Port Elizabeth . This fully remote position offers an excellent opportunity for a lawyer early in their career to gain broad experience across various legal disciplines, including contract drafting, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. You will support senior legal counsel in managing legal affairs, conducting research, and ensuring the company operates within legal boundaries.

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing commercial contracts and legal documentation.
• Conduct legal research on various corporate and commercial law matters.
• Support the legal team in ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain corporate records and assist with board meeting administration.
• Help manage internal legal queries from different business departments.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures.

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa with less than 5 years of post-qualification experience.
• A strong academic record with a focus on commercial or corporate law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective remote interaction.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
