For the further expansion of our international M&A practice in Zurich, we are looking for an exceptionally well-qualified and innovative individual (m/f/d) who enjoys working with us on cross border projects and advising our multinational clients with commitment and professional expertise. You will work closely with colleagues from various countries and contribute your ideas in a dynamic, international environment.
Your Responsibilities- Legal advisory services and support in cross-border M&A transactions (due diligence, drafting transaction documents, negotiations)
- Drafting and reviewing share purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, investment agreements, joint venture agreements and other corporate / commercial documents
- Coordinating with internal specialists and external partners (e.g., tax advisors, auditors) including partners and associates across the firm's global network
- Managing multi-jurisdictional corporate restructurings
- Managing and further developing client relationships
- Completed law degree (or equivalent qualification) and preferable qualified solicitor in England & Wales or similar jurisdiction with a strong command of English corporate and commercial law
- At least eight years of professional experience in M&A or corporate law, gained at leading global law firms complemented by in-house experience at listed or multinational companies; additional experience gained in London and Greater China is an advantage
- Strong experience in private M&A transactions – including cross-border M&A, divestments, joint ventures and corporate reorganizations / carve-outs; exposure to general commercial agreements is an advantage
- Proven ability to manage complex multi-jurisdictional deals (particularly corporate reorganizations and carve-outs) from inception to completion
- Keen interest in and extensive background advising on cross-border life sciences (pharma / biotech / medical device) and tech-related transactions
- Strong academic record (magna/summa cum laude/first class honors)
- English as mother tongue and excellent command of Mandarin Chinese
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style

- Strong team player with a high degree of initiative and demonstrated experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and other jurisdictions
