Family Solicitor

Eventus Legal are seeking aFamily Solicitor to join a highly regarded law firm in Derby, Derbyshire. This is a fulltime, permanent job position offering hybrid working with up to two days per week working remotely from home, a salary of up to £50,000 dependent on experience, 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays and excellent longterm career progression and great transport links to the City centre.

You will manage a varied caseload ofhighqualityprivate family matters, including highnetworth work, with paralegal and secretarial assistance. Applications are also welcomed from Chartered Legal Executives with at least two years' relevantpostqualifiedexperience.

• Managing a varied caseload of divorce, separation, financialremedyand private children matters

• Advising on complex and highnetworth family law matters and providing clear, practical guidance throughout

• Conducting your own advocacy and attending the Family Court regularly

• Taking responsibility for matters frominitialinstruction through to conclusion

• Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering a sensitive,responsive and professional service

• Working collaboratively with the wider family team and making effective use of the dedicated paralegal and secretarial support available

• Qualification as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive

• At least two years' post-qualified experience within private family law

• Experience handling a broad range of divorce, financial remedy and private children matters

• The ability to advise on complex or highnetworth matters, or the ambition to develop further experience in this area

• Confidence conductingownadvocacyand attending Court

• Strong client care,communicationandorganisationalskills

• A collaborative approach and commitment to deliveringhighqualitylegal advice
