Type of Role:
Permanent, Full-time Salary: 40,000 to 55,000 (depending on experience)
A well established and reputable law firm is seeking a Clinical Negligence Solicitor or Legal Executive with 1-2 years' post qualification experience to join its expanding Clinical Negligence team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise within a supportive, collaborative environment that values high quality work and strong client care.
The Role You'll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of Clinical Negligence matters from initial instruction through to settlement, including:
Conducting initial consultations and triaging new enquiries
Advising and supporting clients throughout their claims
Managing pre action and litigated cases under the CPR Drafting Letters of Claim, analysing Letters of Response, preparing witness statements, and drafting court documents
Reviewing and preparing chronologies of medical records and expert evidence
Instructing and liaising with medical experts and counsel
Advising on funding arrangements including CFAs, ATE policies, and client care documentation
Negotiating with defendants and insurers to secure the best outcomes
Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering a high standard of service
Candidate Requirements This role is suited to a qualified solicitor or legal executive with:1-2 years PQE in Clinical Negligence Strong analytical, drafting, and case management skills
Excellent communication and client handling abilities
Confidence in managing files independently with appropriate supervision
High attention to detail and a methodical approach
Strong organisational skills and a proactive mindset
Competence in legal IT systems and Microsoft Office Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to its ongoing development
