Senior Associate - Corporate Law Annual Salary: £65k - £85k

Guildford Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid (up to 50% remote work) We are seeking a Senior Associate with over 6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join a Legal 500 Corporate team in Guildford.

This role offers a significant opportunity for career development, high visibility within and outside the firm, and a pivotal role in business development with full partner support. Day-to-day of the role:
Work closely with the team on a full range of corporate transactions, including M&A, spin-out, and venture capital transactions. Draft transaction documents and legal advice tailored to client needs. Manage transactions effectively, ensuring smooth execution and compliance with legal standards. Engage actively with clients and third parties to facilitate the successful delivery of transactions. Participate in and potentially lead the team’s business development activities, enhancing the firm's market presence and client base.

Operate under the firm’s hybrid agile working policy, allowing flexibility to work from home or another UK location for up to 50% of the time. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Must be SRA Qualified with a minimum of 6 years PQE. Proven background as an Associate or Senior Associate in private practice. Strong experience in supervising juniors and managing transactions from inception to completion. Previous business development experience is highly preferred. Excellent legal drafting and transaction management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining strong client relationships and managing stakeholder expectations.
