About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Real Estate Paralegal to support their legal team in Pretoria . This role is critical in ensuring the smooth and legally compliant execution of all real estate transactions. You will assist attorneys with drafting and reviewing legal documents, managing closings, conducting title searches, and maintaining case files. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of property law and is adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.

This hybrid role offers a blend of office-based collaboration and remote work flexibility, supporting the busy legal operations for our client's significant real estate portfolio.

• Draft and review real estate contracts, deeds, leases, and other legal documents.
• Coordinate and manage real estate closings, ensuring all documentation is accurate and filed correctly.
• Conduct title searches and review title insurance commitments.
• Organize and maintain case files, legal documents, and correspondence.
• Liaise with clients, attorneys, title companies, and government agencies.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for litigation, if necessary, related to real estate disputes.

• Paralegal certificate or Associate's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal .
• In-depth knowledge of real estate law, conveyancing, and property transactions.
• Proficiency in legal research and document management software.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills.
