LAWYER – CORPORATE/COMMERCIAL LAW Large-firm caliber cases in a boutique, human, and collaborative environment.
Our client is a renowned boutique firm, bringing together lawyers, notaries, and paralegals who work closely together and share a common goal of providing high-level service.
You will have the opportunity to work directly with clients on large-scale corporate, commercial, and real estate transactions, while benefiting from the close relationships and flexibility of a human-sized firm.
THE ROLEYou will be required to:
- Participate in corporate and commercial transactions;
- Prepare documentation related to corporate reorganizations, turnovers, mergers, and acquisitions;
- Participate in due diligence and negotiations;
- Prepare corporate documents related to financing;
- Draft corporate agreements and shareholder agreements;
- Review memoranda tax matters;
- Advise clients and work directly with the various professionals involved in transactions.
- Member of the Quebec Bar;
- 2 to 5 years of experience in corporate law;
- Experience in commercial law;
- Excellent writing and communication skills;
- Good organizational skills, autonomy, and rigor;
- Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines Simultaneously;
- Team spirit, intellectual curiosity, and initiative;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
