Position Overview:

Handle a broad spectrum of contentious probate work, both bringing and defending claims Act for individual clients across Inheritance Act claims, will challenges, trust disputes and more Contribute to cross-border claims with a European element Full-time role (37.5 hours per week) with flexibility on office location and some home working Genuine opportunity to develop both legal knowledge and career

Key Responsibilities of the Wills, Trust and Estates Disputes Lawyer:
Working as part of the WTED team to deliver on agreed cases and support the wider team Handling contentious probate work including Inheritance Act claims, construction and rectification claims, and Court of Protection disputes Managing executor disputes, trustee disputes, proprietary estoppel claims and challenges to Wills Delivering individual targets with supervision and working with colleagues across a variety of cases Attracting work and undertaking practice development activity to raise the firm's profile in the contentious probate market Ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and building strong client relationships Maintaining files to ISO standards and complying with financial procedures and accounting rules Requirements of the Wills, Trust and Estates Disputes Lawyer:
Ideally 4–8 years' PQE with extensive knowledge of WTED law (less experienced candidates with an interest in and aptitude for the area will also be considered) Good technical knowledge relating to the role, or the ability to assimilate it whilst in post A team player with strong communication skills and attention to detail Proactive and able to take the initiative Personable and confident, able to build relationships with people at all levels The ability to effectively manage your own workload The Benefits for the Wills, Trust and Estates Disputes Lawyer role:
