About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Contract Law Specialist to join their team in Mossel Bay . This role will focus primarily on the drafting, review, negotiation, and management of a wide array of commercial contracts essential to the company's operations. You will collaborate closely with business units to ensure that all contractual agreements align with company policies, legal requirements, and strategic objectives.

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, and partnership agreements.
• Ensure all contracts comply with relevant laws and company policies.
• Manage the contract lifecycle from initiation to execution and renewal.
• Provide guidance and training to business teams on contract best practices and risk management.
• Maintain an organized and up-to-date repository of all executed contracts.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on contractual matters.

• Law degree (LLB) or equivalent with a strong focus on contract law.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in contract drafting and negotiation.
• In-depth knowledge of contract law principles and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Experience with contract management software is an advantage.
