We are looking for Legal Counsel possessing transactional, corporate and/or litigation experience to join our Legal Department in one of our legal hub offices. In this role, you will have the opportunity to participate in various legal functions within the department, including: providing advice and assistance to the company and its various home office functional groups, managing litigation and disputes, review and negotiation of construction and engineering services contracts as well as subcontracts and material supply agreements, and, supporting business units and profit centers by acting as dedicated legal support as well as engaging with key members of senior management Critical thinking, problem-solving and excellent judgment are key qualities to achieve success in this role.

Kiewit’s Canadian projects include highways, bridges, mass transit, mine site development & open pit operations, hydroelectric powerhouses, wind-power plants, dams & industrial. In particular, the role will include providing legal support for the Quebec City Tramway project.

The position will be based in one of Kiewit’s hub offices in Canada.

• Provide regular and ongoing legal advice with respect to legal issues facing the Company.
• Assist and coordinate with other members of the Legal Department with other legal needs of the Company, as necessary.
