Family Solicitor - English or dual qualified

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced English or dual qualified Family Solicitor to join a highly regarded and ambitious family law team to join a top tier independent Scottish law firm.

This role offers the chance to work on a broad range of high-quality family law matters, including complex financial disputes, child-related cases and cross-border instructions. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and supportive team with an excellent reputation in the market and a strong pipeline of challenging work.

The Opportunity:

You will advise a diverse client base on a wide range of family law matters while working closely with colleagues across the wider private client division.

The position provides excellent exposure to complex and high-value work, as well as the opportunity to play a key role in developing client relationships, mentoring junior team members and contributing to the continued growth of an established practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing a varied caseload of English family law matters

Advising clients on financial remedy, divorce and child cases

Handling complex cross-border family law instructions

Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional contacts

Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team Delivering high levels of client service and technical expertise

Assisting with business development initiatives and profile raising activities

Contributing to internal training and knowledge sharing

About You:

English or dual qualified Solicitor with 3+ years' PQEStrong experience in family law, including financial and child-related matters

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Commercially aware and client focused

Able to manage a busy workload with minimal supervision

Team player with a collaborative approach

Ambitious and motivated to develop your career within a leading practice
