About the Role

Our client is seeking a sharp and proactive Commercial Attorney to join their legal team remotely, with a focus on supporting operations in Kimberley . This role involves providing expert legal advice on a wide range of commercial transactions, agreements, and business dealings. You will be instrumental in mitigating legal risks, ensuring compliance, and driving favorable outcomes for the company. • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, leases, and other agreements.
• Advise business units on legal aspects of commercial activities and strategic decisions.
• Manage legal risks associated with business operations and corporate transactions.
• Conduct legal research and provide analysis on relevant laws and regulations.
• Liaise with external counsel when specialized expertise is required.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and legal requirements.

• LLB degree or equivalent, with admission as an Advocate or Attorney .
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial law practice.
• Strong understanding of contract law, company law, and commercial dispute resolution.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a demanding workload in a remote setting.
