About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and eager Legal Intern to join their legal department in Upington . You will work closely with experienced legal professionals, assisting with research, document preparation, and administrative tasks.

• Assist legal counsel with legal research and drafting of legal memoranda.
• Support the review and organization of legal documents and contracts.
• Help manage case files and maintain electronic databases.
• Attend legal meetings and assist in minute-taking as required.
• Conduct preliminary research on statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Provide administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling and correspondence.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed an LLB degree or equivalent legal qualification.
• Strong academic record with a keen interest in corporate and commercial law.
• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in legal research databases and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
