Senior Legal Advisor - Commercial Contracts

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Advisor with a strong background in Commercial Contracts to join their fully remote legal team, supporting their Kimberley operations. This key role involves leading the drafting, negotiation, and management of a wide array of commercial agreements critical to the company's business success. You will provide strategic legal counsel to various departments, ensuring favorable terms and mitigating risks.

• Lead the negotiation and drafting of complex commercial contracts, including supply agreements, licensing agreements, partnership agreements,and service level agreements.
• Provide strategic legal advice on contractual risks and opportunities to business stakeholders.
• Develop and implement standardized contract templates and playbooks to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Oversee contract lifecycle management, including review, amendment, and termination processes.
• Conduct legal research and provide analysis on issues related to contract law and commercial transactions.
• Manage external legal counsel engaged for specific contractual matters as needed.

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court with a minimum of 7 years of post‑qualification experience, specializing in commercial contract law.
• Proven expertise in negotiating and drafting a variety of complex commercial agreements.
