We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a General Counsel to provide strategic legal leadership and oversee all legal matters for the organization on a Full-Time basis.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary legal advisor to executive leadership and board members on corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, partnership agreements, and licensing arrangements.
- Manage and mitigate legal risks associated with the company’s operations, product offerings, and global expansion.
- Oversee corporate legal functions, including intellectual property protection, data privacy, and employment law matters.
- Ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions while supporting the company’s growth objectives.
Skills & Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one state.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on technology, internet, or digital platform industries.
- Strong expertise in commercial contract negotiation, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience advising startups or high-growth companies on venture financing, M&A, and strategic partnerships.
- Familiarity with data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and intellectual property protection strategies.
