About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Commercial Property Lawyer to join their dynamic legal team, working remotely to serve clients across Gauteng and beyond. This role is crucial for managing and advising on a wide spectrum of commercial property transactions, including leasing, sales, acquisitions, and development projects. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of property law and commercial deal structures, with the ability to provide strategic legal counsel from a remote setting.

This is a significant opportunity for an experienced property lawyer to leverage flexibility while contributing to impactful real estate deals.

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial lease agreements, sale agreements, and development contracts.
• Provide legal advice on property acquisitions, disposals, and property finance.
• Conduct legal due diligence for property transactions, including title searches and regulatory reviews.
• Advise on zoning, land use, and environmental regulations impacting commercial properties.
• Manage property portfolio legal requirements and compliance.
• Liaise with clients, conveyancers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful deal closure.

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience specifically in commercial property law.
• Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating complex property agreements.
• Strong understanding of property development, leasing, and financing.
