Our client is seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join their fully remote legal team. This role demands expertise in managing complex commercial disputes from initiation through to resolution, utilizing digital tools and virtual collaboration. You will represent the company and its clients in various legal proceedings, leveraging your extensive experience in court advocacy and alternative dispute resolution.

• Manage all aspects of commercial litigation cases, including strategy development, evidence gathering, and trial preparation.
• Draft and file legal pleadings, motions, and other court documents accurately and timely.
• Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and settlement conferences virtually.
• Conduct witness examinations and cross-examinations as required.
• Provide strategic advice to clients on litigation risk and dispute resolution options.
• Collaborate effectively with legal teams, experts, and clients in a remote environment.

• Admitted as an Attorney with a minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience in commercial litigation.
• Proven track record of successfully handling complex commercial disputes in South African courts.
• In-depth knowledge of civil procedure, evidence law, and commercial law principles.
• Exceptional advocacy, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in virtual court proceedings and digital case management systems.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a demanding caseload remotely.
