Legal Advisor - Law

Our client, a leading corporate entity in Klerksdorp , seeks a qualified Legal Advisor specializing in Contract Law . This role is integral to the company's operations, providing expert legal guidance on all contractual matters, from drafting and negotiation to risk assessment and dispute resolution. You will collaborate closely with various departments, ensuring all business agreements align with legal standards and company policies.

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including service agreements, supplier contracts, and partnership deals.
• Advise business units on contractual risks, liabilities, and compliance obligations.
• Develop and implement standardized contract templates and clauses.
• Manage contract lifecycle from initiation to execution and archival.
• Provide legal support for tender processes and procurement activities.

• Admitted Attorney with a minimum of 6 years' experience, with a strong emphasis on contract drafting and commercial law.
• Deep understanding of South African contract law and related legislation.
• Proven ability to analyze complex contractual terms and provide clear, actionable advice.
• Experience working within a corporate legal department or advising corporate clients is essential.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
