About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Contract Lawyer for a fixed-term engagement, offering a hybrid work model . This role involves providing specialized legal services to support ongoing projects and specific legal needs within the organization based in Vereeniging . You will work closely with the in-house legal team, managing contract reviews, providing strategic advice, and ensuring legal compliance for project-specific matters.

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts and agreements.
• Provide legal advice on project-related issues, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

• Manage legal documentation and maintain organized records for all assigned matters.
• Assist in dispute resolution and claims management as needed.

• Admitted attorney with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience.
• Proven expertise in contract law, commercial law, and corporate governance.
• Experience working in a similar hybrid or remote legal role.
• Strong negotiation and drafting skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage caseload effectively.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
