About the Role

Our client is seeking a proficient Real Estate Transactions Lawyer to join their growing legal team, operating remotely to serve clients across South Africa. This role will focus on advising on all legal aspects of property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, and development. You will work closely with clients, developers, and financial institutions to ensure smooth and legally compliant property deals.

This is an excellent opportunity for a real estate legal expert who thrives in a remote setting and possesses a keen understanding of the property market and its associated legal intricacies.

• Conduct legal due diligence on commercial and residential property portfolios.
• Draft, review, and negotiate sale agreements, lease agreements, and development agreements.
• Advise on property finance, sectional title schemes, and land use regulations.
• Manage the conveyancing process and registration of property rights.
• Assist clients with property dispute resolution and litigation where necessary.
• Stay informed about property law developments and market trends.

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience specializing in commercial and residential property law.
• Proven experience in handling complex property transactions and drafting related agreements.
• Solid understanding of South African property law, including the Deeds Registries Act.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and client relationship management skills.
