Remote Aviation Compliance Officer

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote Aviation Compliance Officer to uphold the highest standards of regulatory adherence across their operations. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while ensuring that all aviation activities strictly comply with national and international regulations. You will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs, conducting audits, and providing guidance to ensure safe and legal operations.

The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of aviation law and standards, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to manage compliance initiatives effectively in a distributed team environment.

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive aviation compliance programs and policies.
• Conduct regular internal audits and assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., SACAA, EASA, FAA).
• Monitor changes in aviation regulations and standards, updating internal procedures accordingly.
• Investigate compliance deviations, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Provide expert guidance and training to staff on aviation compliance matters.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities on behalf of the company to facilitate inspections and address compliance concerns.

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in aviation compliance, safety management, or regulatory affairs.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, safety management systems (SMS), and quality assurance principles.
• Experience in conducting audits, risk assessments, and developing corrective action plans.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and report-writing abilities, essential for effective remote collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
