Up to £40k per annum basic, (OTE 70-80k) Job Type: Full-time hybrid role (1-2 days working from home) Are you an experienced Private Client professional seeking to genuinely shape and grow an Estate Planning service? This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a developing Estate Planning and Private Client service, working with an established client base that includes high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurs.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Draft straightforward and complex wills and provide tailored estate planning advice. Prepare and register Lasting Powers of Attorney. Advise on and administer trusts, probate and estate administration. Identify inheritance tax planning opportunities and work collaboratively with IFAs. Develop long-term client relationships and contribute to the growth of the Private Client offering. More Than Just a Caseload:
Build and retain long-term client relationships. Generate cross-referrals with IFAs and identify Estate Planning opportunities from financial reviews. Contribute to the growth and visibility of the Private Client service through excellent client service and repeat business.
About You:
At least two years' experience in will writing and private client work, with a proven ability to manage a caseload independently from instruction through to completion. Strong technical knowledge of wills, trusts, estate administration, LPAs, probate and inheritance tax principles. Experience working with high-net-worth clients and handling complex matters. Strong understanding of risk management, compliance and when specialist legal referral is required.
Hold, or be working towards, a STEP qualification or a similar relevant qualification in trusts, estate planning or private client work Why Consider This Opportunity?
