Corporate Legal Advisor

Our client seeks a proactive and experienced Corporate Legal Advisor to join their esteemed legal team in Pretoria . This position is crucial for overseeing the legal aspects of the company's corporate activities, ensuring robust governance and compliance frameworks are maintained. You will play a key role in advising on corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate law matters. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of corporate law and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services within a supportive and professional environment in Gauteng .

• Advise on corporate law, company secretarial duties, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Draft and review corporate agreements, resolutions, and other legal documentation.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions from a legal perspective.
• Manage regulatory filings and ensure adherence to corporate governance best practices.
• Conduct due diligence investigations for various corporate activities.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and external legal counsel as needed.

• Admitted attorney with a minimum of 6 years of experience focused on corporate and commercial law.
• Strong knowledge of the Companies Act and other relevant South African legislation.
• Proven experience in corporate transactions, M&A, and corporate governance.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage a demanding workload with precision.
