This is a contractor role suitable for candidates in Canada with a strong background in mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, or commercial litigation. You'll engage in analyzing complex legal scenarios and drafting vital legal documents to support AI training initiatives. Your domain knowledge will ensure the accuracy and contextual relevance of legal materials used in AI model development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze legal scenarios in mergers & acquisitions and private equity
• Draft, review, and annotate legal documents for accuracy
• Evaluate commercial litigation cases for data representation
• Assess corporate law issues, offering best practice insights
• Collaborate with technical experts to translate legal reasoning
Requirements:
• J.D. with active bar membership (U.S. or equivalent)
• 3+ years experience in corporate law or commercial litigation
• Proven attention to detail and clarity in legal synthesis
• Experience in drafting transactional documents or litigation materials
• Understanding of AI/data annotation is preferred
