Intellectual Property Attorney

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Intellectual Property Attorney to join their dedicated, fully remote legal team. This role is central to protecting the company's valuable intellectual assets, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. You will manage the entire IP lifecycle, from prosecution and registration to enforcement and litigation. • Manage and prosecute patent, trademark, and copyright applications globally.
• Conduct IP due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
• Draft and negotiate IP-related agreements, such as licenses, assignments, and R&D collaborations.
• Advise on IP strategy, portfolio management, and competitive landscape analysis.
• Represent the company in IP litigation, opposition proceedings, and dispute resolution matters.
• Monitor for and address potential IP infringements.

• Admitted attorney with a specialization in Intellectual Property Law .
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IP prosecution, transactions, and/or litigation.
• Strong technical background or experience in a relevant scientific/engineering field is advantageous.
• In-depth knowledge of patent, trademark, and copyright law in key jurisdictions.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to thrive in an independent, remote work setting.
