Senior Legal Counsel - Remote

Our client is seeking a highly accomplished and motivated Senior Legal Counsel to join their dynamic legal team. • Provide expert legal advice and strategic counsel on corporate law, contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and litigation management.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, ensuring legal and business objectives are met.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues, providing clear and concise recommendations to senior management.
• Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
• Manage external counsel effectively and oversee the resolution of legal disputes.
• Proactively identify potential legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.

• Admitted as an attorney or advocate with a minimum of 8 years' post-qualification experience in corporate or commercial law.
• Proven experience in drafting and negotiating complex contracts and advising on corporate governance.
• Strong understanding of South African legal frameworks and regulatory environments relevant to the company's industry.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
