Compensation: $30 - $50/hr.

LHH is actively seeking experienced Legal Assistants and Paralegals for ongoing and upcoming contract opportunities with law firms and corporate legal departments throughout California. These positions are ideal for legal professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and bring strong organizational, communication, and legal support skills.
We are continually partnering with clients seeking talented legal support professionals across a variety of practice areas and industries.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys, legal teams, and business stakeholders
- Draft, revise, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports
- Manage calendars, deadlines, court dates, and case or matter files
- Assist with document management, record organization, and electronic filing systems
- Coordinate meetings, client communications, and legal team activities
- Support contract administration, corporate governance, discovery, or litigation activities, depending on assignment
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal procedures and deadlines
- Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, clients, and cross-functional business teams
- 3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, Paralegal, or related legal support professional
- Bachelor Degree
- Experience supporting attorneys within a law firm and/or corporate legal department
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new environments and assignments
- Experience with litigation support, corporate legal support, contracts, calendaring, filings, or document management strongly preferred
- Candidates may have experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Commercial Contracts
- Employment Law
- Real Estate
- Insurance Defense
- Labor & Employment
- General Legal Support
- Paralegal Certificate strongly preferred
