Full Opportunity Brief Legal Counsel - NYEon.io is seeking an experienced, business-oriented attorney to serve as the primary legal advisor for its U.S. commercial operations. This role involves partnering with Sales, Partnerships, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership to drive complex commercial transactions while balancing legal risk and business objectives.
Key Eligibility Criteria- Licensure: Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar.
- Experience: 8+ years of legal experience, including significant commercial contracting and transaction experience.
- Background: Experience at a leading law firm and/or in-house at a SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, or technology company.
- Skills: Strong expertise in negotiating enterprise SaaS, technology, and strategic commercial agreements; proven ability to balance legal risk with business objectives.
- Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial agreements (enterprise customer, partner, reseller, vendor, and SaaS agreements).
- Partner with Sales and Revenue leadership to structure and close strategic enterprise transactions.
- Advise business stakeholders on legal and commercial risks with practical, business-focused guidance.
- Support strategic partnerships, channel programs, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Develop and improve contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and scalable legal processes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Security, Product, and Compliance teams.
- Base Salary: $230,000 – $280,000 (varies based on qualifications and skills).
- Additional Compensation: Variable/Bonus Compensation & Equity Incentives (RSUs).
