Paralegal and Case Manager – West Virginia Personal Injury; Fully Remote) BB Injury Law

BB Injury Law is hiring an experienced Paralegal and Case Manager for our West Virginia personal injury practice. This is a fully remote position.

• Client intake, onboarding, and ongoing client communication
• Track medical treatment and gather medical records and bills
• Identify and resolve liens and subrogation claims (Medicaid, Medicare, ERISA, PEIA, hospital, and LOP)
• Draft demand packages and support settlement negotiations under attorney direction
• Coordinate settlement disbursements
• Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions under attorney supervision
• Calendar and track court deadlines, hearings, and trial dates
• Coordinate depositions, exhibits, witnesses, and trial logistics

• At least 5 years of West Virginia plaintiff personal injury experience
• Working knowledge of the West Virginia Rules of Civil Procedure and Magistrate Court procedure
• Experience drafting demand packages and calculating special damages
• Lien and subrogation experience
• Comfort with West Virginia e-filing
• Strong organization and a track record of never missing a deadline

• Trial support experience
• Experience supervising or training paralegal staff
• Familiarity with wrongful death and minor-settlement procedures in West Virginia
