Contract Deposition Attorney | Workers’ Compensation
The Law Offices of Bob Nehoray is seeking an experienced California workers’ compensation attorney to represent injured workers at depositions on a contract basis. This role is ideal for an attorney who can independently prepare clients, protect their interests during testimony, and provide clear reporting to the handling attorney.
Responsibilities- Review case files, medical records, and relevant documents before depositions.
- Meet with clients to explain the deposition process and prepare them for testimony.
- Represent applicants at depositions, make appropriate objections, and protect the record.
- Provide written summaries identifying key testimony, concerns, and recommended follow up.
- Coordinate with handling attorneys and case managers regarding preparation, scheduling, and next steps.
- Active California State Bar license in good standing.
- Prior California workers’ compensation experience, including representing applicants at depositions.
- Strong client communication, preparation, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage assignments independently and meet deadlines.
- Reliable availability and responsiveness.
Contract compensation based on experience and agreed scope of work.
