Boutique Texas law firm specializing in professional and occupational license defense is in hyper growth mode and looking to hire Remote Associate Attorneys. The firm represents licensed professionals in regulatory and administrative matters across the state. Candidates must live in Texas.
Responsibilities- Represent professionals in occupational and professional licensing matters involving state regulatory agencies.
- Conduct client interviews, investigate facts, and develop case strategies.
- Represent clients in SOAH hearings, Informal Settlement Conferences, mediations, negotiations, and other administrative proceedings.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal briefs, correspondence, and other case-related documents.
- Counsel clients regarding regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and licensing requirements.
- Maintain strong, responsive client relationships throughout the matter.
- Active Texas Bar license and a record in good standing.
- 2-6+ years of legal experience in professional license defense, administrative, or regulatory law.
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and client-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff.
- Proficiency with legal technology, including Lexis Nexis, Clio, Microsoft Office, and AI-enabled legal tools.
