Commercial Contracts Lawyer

Our client is looking for a proficient Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join their legal team, working remotely from Upington or any other location within South Africa. This role is integral to the company's commercial operations, focusing on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide array of contracts and agreements to support business objectives. You will ensure that all contractual arrangements are legally sound, mitigate risks, and align with the company's strategic goals.

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, service level agreements, NDAs, and partnership agreements.
• Provide expert legal advice on contractual matters and potential liabilities.
• Ensure contracts comply with relevant laws and company policies.
• Manage the contract lifecycle, including renewals and terminations.
• Collaborate with business units to understand their needs and provide effective legal solutions.

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court with at least 5 years of experience in commercial contract law .
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex contractual terms.
• Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management and risk assessment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
