CRA Consulting is pleased to be working alongside an established legal services provider to recruit an experienced Fast Track RTA Fee Earner to join its growing Personal Injury team. This is an excellent opportunity for a claimant personal injury professional with experience handling Fast Track Road Traffic Accident claims and a strong working knowledge of the MOJ Portal. You will take responsibility for your own caseload of non-infant RTA claims, progressing matters through the relevant stages of the claims process and working towards successful settlements.
With an emphasis on quality, efficiency and client care, the position offers the opportunity to build on your existing experience within a well-established and expanding department.
Working as part of an experienced team, you will manage a caseload of Fast Track RTA claims, ensuring matters progress efficiently and in line with the relevant procedural requirements. From initial instruction through to settlement, you will oversee the day-to-day progression of claims, reviewing evidence, assessing the merits of each case and ensuring key deadlines are met. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a caseload of non-infant Fast Track RTA claims.
- Progressing claims through the MOJ Portal and associated litigation processes.
- Assessing liability, causation and quantum.
- Reviewing medical evidence and supporting documentation.
- Obtaining witness statements and further evidence where required.
- Preparing correspondence, pleadings and other legal documents.
- Maintaining regular contact with clients and providing clear updates throughout their claims.
- Liaising with insurers, solicitors, medical experts and other third parties.
- Negotiating settlements and working to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Monitoring court directions, procedural deadlines and key dates.
- Maintaining accurate records on case management systems.
- Ensuring files meet internal quality, compliance and regulatory standards.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of service and team performance.
We are keen to hear from experienced Fast Track RTA Fee Earners who are confident managing their own caseload and have a good understanding of the claimant personal injury process. Ideally, you will have:
- Previous experience handling Fast Track RTA claims.
- A strong working knowledge of the MOJ Portal.
- Experience progressing claims independently and managing a busy caseload.
- A sound understanding of personal injury litigation procedures and relevant deadlines.
- Strong drafting, negotiation and case-management skills.
- Excellent communication and client-care abilities.
- The ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines.
- A methodical approach to file management and strong attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Confidence using legal case-management systems and Microsoft Office.
