Tyson & Mendes is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1+ years of insurance defense experience to join our growing Philadelphia team.

This is a remote opportunity for an attorney who already understands the fundamentals of insurance defense and is ready for more:
more case ownership, more substantive litigation experience, more client interaction, and more opportunity to develop as a litigator.

On Chris Kelly’s teams, we keep case staffing lean, typically with only two attorneys assigned to a file. That means associates aren't sitting on the sidelines.

You’ll have the opportunity to handle files, develop strategy, manage discovery, take depositions, work with experts, communicate with clients and carriers, handle motion practice, and prepare matters for trial.

The goal is simple:
give you meaningful litigation experience sooner rather than later.

Build a Broad Litigation Practice

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ years of recent insurance defense experience
• Active Pennsylvania Bar license required
• Pennsylvania and New Jersey dual admission strongly preferred
• Prior billing experience
• Ability to independently handle and move files forward
• Strong written, analytical and communication skills
• Responsive, curious and committed to doing great work
